2026 Year of the Horse Goals

Happy new year to all my friends here. Nezuko says happy mew year too!

Anyway, we got this idea from Michael Tresca and we wanted to do the same! Also, if you're not following on his profile, you really should, especially for those who love D&D!!!

So, year of the horse!! Not only that, the fire horse! On the Chinese Zodiac, it symbolics energy and enthusiasm. Horses are fast and fierce! So this year, me and Nezuko will be channeling all of those traits and bring it to our business! We’re going to be making bold moves and explore all the things!

Well, time to cut the chitty chat and just get to the goals, huh?

Books

  1. Work on my full-length extreme horror novella called, "Be Careful For What You Wish For".

  2. Continue my collab book projects with Dorvan Davidson-Revill. We're working on a series called, "Poison Ivy Saints" and "Parashorts: Devil's Playground".

  3. Start putting together the third instalment of, "What if Cats Wrote" and this one will be horror from a cat's POV!!! I have all the stories written, I just need to plan and work on the illustrations, which always takes me months to do.

  4. My horror anthology will finally get published!! It's still in with my editor. Then I will be making any changes and bam!

Artwork

  1. Adding more to the horror kitties collection!!!

  2. Working and planning on a WWE kitties collection

  3. Starting up a One Piece kitties collection as well. Got one done already!

Products

  1. Solar-powered lucky cats - HORROR EDITION!!!!!! These will be handpainted and come in different sizes!

  2. Prints! Because why not! Just not sure if I want to do postcard-sized or the typical 8x11...or maaaaaybe I'll make them coffin-shaped hahaha.

  3. T-shirts! I want to make this happen, I just need to find a manufacturer I want to work with and start making small batches. These will most likely be a limited edition thing as I don't want to do Print on Demand.

  4. Deskmats!!! Or maybe even playmats. Purrsonally, I think deskmats will do better and more versatile. I will only do one design for this as they are expensive to get made.

  5. MOAR stickers!!!! Because people love them!

  6. Get a dark universe design done for another nylon bag design!

  7. MOAR pins!! These are big hit with people as well! But I won't be making any more charms as demand for that is dwindling, sadly.

Markets/Conventions

Some of these I have submitted my application for, but am waiting to hear back as it's tough to get in or I've been waitlisted.

  1. Calgary Horror Con (I'm in!!!)

  2. Calgary Fan Expo (waiting)

  3. Otafest (waiting)

  4. Calgary Punk Rock Flea Market (waitlisted)

  5. Calgary Cat Festival (application not opened yet)

  6. Calgary Holiday Geeky Market (not opened)

I'm sure more markets will pop up that will catch my eye that I would love to join as well. But for now, I don't know what those will be haha.

Retail

Another big goal is I want to get more into the retail space. Currently, I have some of my products for sale at The Regal Cat Cafe with proceeds going to help MEOW Foundation. I'm looking to get onto a few waitlist with local businesses and expand from there. I did look at Edmonton but getting to and from will be rather far and wouldn't make sense financially right now.

So there ya have it! My goals for this year. It may change as ideas come up! Best of luck to everyone who are setting goals for themselves! We got this!

Don't forget to stop by our shop to check out the latest drops!

As a horror writer and artist, it's only natural that I wander down the extreme horror and splatterpunk genre. In fact, I one day, would love to win the Splatterpunk Award alongside Kristopher Triana
